Due to the nature of this role, it is entirely office-based. The role is part-time, working from 9 am to 5:15 pm, three days a week – days to be agreed.
Main purpose of the role
Working in the personal injury team to provide administrative support to Fee Earners within the department.
Key Responsibilities (not exhaustive)
* Liaising with experts, counsel, witnesses, and the court
* Preparing correspondence and documents through audio and copy typing
* Using accounting and time recording software
* Checking documents for accuracy
* Costing files for cost update letters and billing
* Taking telephone messages
* Making appointments, managing diaries, and attending to clients' reasonable requirements
* Using photocopier and scanner where necessary
* Preparing mail and enclosures for dispatch
* Ensuring confidentiality and security of all documentation to comply with GDPR regulations
Skills and Qualifications
* Good academic record
* Secretarial experience in Litigation is essential
* Experience with the Proclaim Case Management system is an advantage
