Role overview Working in the Credit Risk, Pricing & Data team within the lending business, this is a hands-on role where you will be using cutting edge technology and data in delivering end to end decisioning capability to support the lending business achieve its strategic objectives. You’ll work closely with teams across the business to build, deploy and optimise customer decisioning functionality, strategies and processes. Job details We have summarised the day to day responsibilities for the role in the following sub categories: Design and Develop - You will work to build innovative solutions to drive change in strategy functionality and automation across the acquisition decisioning journey. Manage - you will manage a robust change process to seamlessly deliver customer decisioning strategies within the in-house decision engine. Maintain - This means maintaining MI to ensure the integrity of outcomes across our customer decisioning framework. Analyse - You will optimise decision engine performance and outcomes utilising a breadth of data sources. Deliver - deliver seamless and user friendly decisioning data, tools and processes to support Underwriting make accurate and informed decisions. Essential skills /experience First and foremost, our Lending team are made up of homeworkers so we are looking for someone who can work independently when left to their own devices but also can work with independence of thought. We are looking for someone who understands the end to end decisioning system that goes into unsecured lending. As a result, we are looking for someone with credit bureau experience or experience across the financial sector (open banking etc.) From technical perspective, we would like you to be proficient in SQL with other coding languages preferrable (JavaScript, Python, R, XSLT). The ideal candidate will also be a logical thinker by nature, being able to demonstrate effective root cause analysis and problem solving. One final key aspect of the role is the communication side. we are seeking a strong and credible communicator at multiple levels within the business.
