Overview
Are you a dynamic clinical leader ready to make a system-wide impact on patient safety and quality improvement? We are seeking an experienced Group Head of Quality & Patient Safety (Clinical) to lead strategic programmes that ensure safe, effective, and person-centred care across our organisation. This high-profile role will support governance transformation and continuous quality improvement, working closely with senior leadership and operational teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead on the implementation of PSIRF (Patient Safety Incident Response Framework) across all services, ensuring learning is embedded into practice.
* Oversee Infection Prevention & Control (IPC) and audit programmes, working closely with the IPC & Clinical Audit Lead to monitor HCAI KPIs and clinical governance standards.
* Drive and coordinate mock CQC inspections, thematic reviews, and Quality Improvement (QI) collaboratives.
* Develop and deliver high-quality data dashboards, thematic analysis to support strategic oversight and decision-making.
* Collaborate with the Group Director of Clinical Governance and service leaders to ensure regulatory readiness and best practice implementation.
What We're Looking For
* A registered nurse, AHP, or medical doctor with proven experience in senior clinical governance roles.
* In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience of PSIRF rollouts, CQC readiness programmes, and thematic review methodologies.
* Strong skills in data interpretation, performance reporting, and quality assurance.
* Excellent communicator with a passion for coaching and influencing multidisciplinary teams.
* A natural leader with the ability to drive improvement and champion patient safety at scale.
