The role in a nutshell
As a Senior Insight Analyst, you will support UNiDAYS' growth by uncovering data trends and providing insight-led recommendations to enhance business performance. You will collaborate with stakeholders to deliver robust insights across various business areas through leading key analytical projects.
Day to day responsibilities
1. Lead and deliver analytical projects that generate actionable insights supporting business performance.
2. Plan and manage insight projects end-to-end, ensuring alignment with business value (collaborating with one or several analysts).
3. Ensure technical delivery is appropriate and fit for purpose.
4. Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
5. Maintain clear communication with stakeholders throughout projects.
6. Manage multiple insight projects concurrently.
7. Support the development of insight roadmaps within the team.
8. Identify opportunities to add value through insights.
9. Take ownership of key insight areas, managing workload and stakeholder relationships.
10. Lead stakeholder relationships to follow up on projects and implement recommendations.
11. Support ad-hoc requests, finding solutions to automate ongoing inquiries.
12. Contribute to developing best practices in statistics, coding, visualization, storytelling, QA, and project delivery.
13. Promote the team’s profile by showcasing insight work through training and presentations.
14. Adhere to Data Governance guidelines, ensuring proper data sharing and usage.
What we need from you
Experience as an insight analyst, including:
* Delivering actionable insights to support decision-making across marketing, commercial, product, operational, or strategic areas.
* Transforming business questions into insight briefs.
* Driving insights from data analysis.
* Developing solutions for data and analytics challenges.
* Extracting and integrating data from various sources.
* Applying analytical and statistical techniques, including advanced methods like A/B testing and forecasting.
* Managing project work individually and in teams, planning and delegating effectively.
* Storytelling insights and presenting to technical and non-technical audiences.
* Using data warehouse and BI platforms for metric creation and report/dashboard development.
* Designing, implementing, and analyzing A/B tests.
* Proficiency in SQL and Excel/Google Sheets; experience with Python/R for advanced analysis.
