Combined Small Works Manager & Buyer (R4) We are seeking an organised and proactive Small Works Manager & Buyer to oversee small works projects while managing procurement activities across both small works and main projects. This role is ideal for someone with strong coordination and problem-solving skills who can build and maintain excellent relationships with clients, engineers, and suppliers. You will play a key role in ensuring projects run smoothly by managing electrical works and sourcing materials efficiently and cost-effectively, all while upholding high standards of quality and service. Key Responsibilities – Small Works Oversee small works projects, maintenance, and remedial works for domestic and commercial clients (typically £250+), with an annual turnover of approximately £400k Act as the primary point of contact for small works clients, managing requirements, expectations, and communication throughout the project lifecycle Manage incoming calls and emails while planning, scheduling, and coordinating multiple small-scale electrical tasks simultaneously Handle reactive maintenance issues and daytime emergency callouts (e.g. power loss), including basic client guidance on fault finding (e.g. tripped RCBOs) Prepare pricing for small works, remedial tasks, EICRs, and installation projects Conduct site surveys for larger small works packages to produce accurate and competitive quotations Monito...
