Finance Manager
£50,000-£57,000
Tewkesbury with 2 days WFH
Hands-on Finance Manager role for an international Tewkesbury business, managing a small team, owning the month-end process, getting involved in projects and partnering with the likes of Sales and site management. Opportunities for progression both locally and abroad. Would suit a qualified accountant who loves working with stakeholders, is keen to learn, take something on and own it and will thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities will include:
\t
* Overseeing reporting, budgeting, forecasting, AP/AR, inventory, and cost control
\t
* Delivering first class management reporting and financial insight to a range of internal stakeholders
\t
* Producing financial analysis to support business decisions and strategic planning
\t
* Managing, coaching and developing a small UK-based finance team
\t
* Driving process improvements, transformation initiatives, and internal control enhancements
\t
* Analysing pricing and the drivers of profitability to support sustainable growth
\t
* Lending support to M&A activities, due diligence, and business case development
We're looking for:
\t
* Ideally a qualified accountant with experience in a similar role
\t
* Needn't be extensive but some previous management experience
\t
* Examples of project delivery such as supporting with a new ERP roll-out
\t
* Strong management reporting experience
\t
* Able to provide financial insight to Sales and leadership team
\t
* A first rate communicator who engages well at all levels
\t
* A good level of proficiency with Excel
