Mechanical Installation ManagerLocationNorth UK | Site BasedEmployment TypeFull Time | PermanentSalary£50,000 to £60,000 depending on experienceOverviewWe are seeking an experienced Mechanical Installation Manager to oversee mechanical installation teams across projects in the North of the UK.This role will sit within a growing renewable and energy solutions business delivering solar PV, heating, and energy efficiency projects. You will take responsibility for managing engineers on site, ensuring quality delivery, strong engagement, and adherence to standards across all installations.You will be working closely with operations, project management and design teams, playing a key role in delivering projects safely, on time and to a high standard.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and lead Mechanical Engineers across multiple sites in the NorthCarry out technical inspections and ensure quality standards are maintainedIdentify and manage non conformities and drive continuous improvementEngage with site teams, providing clear direction and leadershipEnsure compliance across timekeeping, documentation, tools and vehicle standardsSupport development of Lead Engineers and wider team progressionCollaborate with project managers, site managers and design teamsReview designs and support planning of installation worksTroubleshoot installation issues and implement corrective actionsProvide clear reporting to senior stakeholders on progress and risksEnsure full compliance with health and safety and CDM regulationsEssential RequirementsBackground in mechanical installations within construction or renewable projectsExperience managing teams on site within an EPC or contractor environmentStrong understanding of quality, compliance and installation standardsProven ability to deliver projects on time and within budgetStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsDesirable QualificationsMechanical Engineering qualification or equivalentExperience within solar PV or renewable energy projectsSMSTS, NEBOSH or similar health and safety certificationExperience developing and mentoring engineering teamsWorking Pattern and BenefitsSalary £50,000 to £60,000 depending on experienceSite based role across the North UKCompany vehicle or allowanceOpportunity to work across large scale renewable and energy projectsProgression within a growing and dynamic businessTPBN1_UKTJ
