Responsibilities Provide comprehensive services to Ocular Oncology consultants and nurses with minimal supervision. Organise your own workload and coordinate activities with the Research Data Manager, secretaries and administrative clerks to ensure an efficient service. Maintain confidentiality and provide cross‑cover where possible. Communicate with staff and patients throughout the Trust and external bodies. Deal with all queries confidentially and competently and perform general office duties.
Qualifications
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant area
Previous NHS experience
Knowledge of NHS systems (iPM, ICE, Choose & Book, 62‑day cancer pathway) and IT skills
Good communication and organisational skills
Previous clerical experience
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
Additional Requirements The postholder will have access to vulnerable people and must undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service check. The role is based at The Royal Liverpool Hospital within St Pauls. This is a Band 2/3 position; sponsorship for right‑to‑work visas is not available for salaries below £25,000 per annum.
