As a Logistics Operative, you will be responsible for all internal and external movements of goods and materials, ensuring all are processed correctly and reconciled onto the ERP system. You will maintain all relevant standards and SOPs, ensuring that physical counts and ERP levels align to deliver % stock accuracy, and that defects are not passed into the manufacturing process.
Key accountabilities
1. Check incoming materials/deliveries for conformance to standards, ensuring paperwork reflects what is received, is correctly labelled, and fully adheres to the supplier’s specifications.
2. Manage the segregation and release process of defect goods in accordance with Quality procedures.
3. Ensure stock returned from WIP areas and directly to suppliers is secured in the correct area, correctly labelled, and aligned on ERP.
4. Manage the rotation of component parts for press and other machinery within manufacturing processes (e.g., impression cylinders, rubbers, sleeves).
5. Ensure dispatched goods meet required standards and match the delivery note.
6. Safeguard waste disposal by operating equipment in line with SOPs and segregating waste categories prior to removal.
7. Complete despatches and sales orders to achieve OTIF.
8. Carry out stocktaking daily/monthly.
9. Load vehicles for deliveries.
10. Support machine setup by ensuring stock and components are ready for production.
11. Plan and book external waste collections through the Shipping Coordinator and Logistics Team No1/FLM.

Qualifications and skills
* Fork Lift and Flexi Truck License (training provided).
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, WMS, and ERP systems.
* Strong organizational and planning skills, with a focus on quality and SOP adherence.
* Logical and methodical approach, with accuracy in measurements, data recording, and input.
* Excellent numeracy and literacy skills.
* Physically fit with manual handling skills.
* Ability to prioritize and organize tasks independently.
* Good team-working and problem-solving skills.
* Knowledge of Quality Systems (e.g., ISO) and experience in quality inspection, audits.
* Understanding of production/technical processes related to SQCDP.
