Barclays is looking for a talented and driven Business Analyst to join our team, supporting a major Financial Crime transformation programme. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work across multiple business areas, improving financial crime controls across the bank.
Key requirements include:
* Previous experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst, preferably within Financial Services.
* A good understanding of Barclays' data landscape or experience navigating complex enterprise data environments.
* Effective stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence across functions and seniority levels.
The role may involve assessing critical skills such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology, along with technical skills.
This position is based in our Glasgow or Northampton office.
Purpose of the role
To support the organization in achieving strategic objectives by identifying business requirements and solutions to address business problems and opportunities.
Accountabilities
* Identify and analyze business problems and client requirements that necessitate change.
* Develop business requirements to address these problems and opportunities.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure solutions meet their needs and expectations.
* Support the creation of business cases justifying investments.
* Conduct feasibility studies for proposed solutions.
* Monitor project progress, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
* Create operational and process designs for proposed solutions.
* Support change management activities, including developing a traceability matrix for successful implementation.
