Amore Complex Care has a rewarding, part‑time position supporting a young lady with autism while she studies at the University of Chester.

Key Job Role Information
* Role: Female Support Worker
* Location: Chester
* Salary: £12.75 per hour
* Shifts: Long day from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm, followed by a sleep shift
Key Role essentials and responsibilities
* Competent verbal and written English
* Must have experience within health and social care settings
Meet the person you’ll be supporting
* Hobbies & interests: Knitting, gardening, local community activities, watching musical theatre.
* Challenges: Autism with mobility restrictions (wheelchair), anxiety requiring support.
* Achievements: A‑Level pass, currently studying at Chester University; expects support with university life.
* Personality: Caring, energetic, enjoys engaging with others about hobbies and aspirations.
* Preferred teammates: Mature, outgoing people who can discuss interests and goals.
Support team details
* Staff support: One staff member at all times.
* Shift pattern: 24‑hour shifts starting in the morning, sleeping over, finishing 24hrs later. No weekend support currently needed.
* Training: Administration of medication; autism and learning disability training; mandatory training at Amore Complex Care.
Who we are looking for
* Good communicator to help manage the service user’s anxiety.
* Good mentor to teach life skills and promote independence.
* Provide companionship during a transitional period.
* Ensure safety during university day.
* Previous experience supporting someone with autism desirable.

Employment requirements
Right to work: Proof of right to work in the UK required. Overseas police check dated within last 3 months is mandatory if you have been outside the UK for over a year in the last 10 years.
