Employment Details
Location: New Mill, Victoria Road, Bradford BD18 3LD
Working pattern: Hybrid – home‑based with one day per week onsite at New Mill
Hours: 33.75 per week
Contract: Fixed term (secondment) until 4 September 2026 (duration 9 months)
Salary: £24,937 – £26,598 per annum pro‑rata
Key Responsibilities
* Own the recruitment process – act as Account Manager for your caseload, driving activity from advert to onboarding and ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
* Be the face of the Trust – build strong, positive relationships with internal teams and external partners.
* Keep it compliant – carry out identity checks in line with national guidance, escalating issues promptly.
* Shape future recruitment – work with managers to design creative and appealing campaigns.
* Engage and inspire – keep candidates informed and motivated throughout the journey, supporting retention from day one.
* Think ahead – contribute to business continuity planning and understand responsibilities in emergency situations.
* Stay organised – maintain accurate, up‑to‑date records in all e‑HR systems and ensure employee files are impeccable.
* Make an impact – assist with data collation, support HR projects, and help deliver departmental KPIs.
* Champion compliance – process Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks and manage revalidation.
* Be an ambassador – attend recruitment fairs, open days, and targeted events to promote the Trust.
Essential Qualifications
* Mathematics and English GCSE grade C or equivalent.
* Equivalent recruitment experience.
* Experience with Microsoft Office suite.
* Experience dealing with staff at all levels and with the public.
* Experience working with databases and spreadsheets.
* Previous experience of working within an HR/learning environment.
* Knowledge of HR policies, best practice, and equal opportunities issues.
* Ability to manage competing demands and meet deadlines.
* Ability to handle difficult customers calmly and sensitively.
Desirable Qualifications
* CIPD Level 3 or higher (or working towards).
* Experience of NHS recruitment.
* Experience delivering training.
* Experience with Trac recruitment system.
* Understanding of employment legislation.
* Knowledge of NHS Employers checking standards.
