Roles and Responsibilities
* Ensure all documentation is accurately produced in accordance with BIM standards as well as company standards
* Act as the Technical Ambassador for the projects and be the Engineering/Design point of contact for the client
* Proactively resolve any technical issues relating to design assurance
* Guide CAD/BIM Technicians in the develop of design drawings, details and library of standard details...
* Check design calculations, contract documentation, drawings and technical documents
* Attend internal/external meetings such as; IDC's
Essential Skills
* Substantial Civil and Structural design experience working within a Rail environment i.e Bridges, Platforms, Reinforced Structure Depot's, AFA schemes...
* Must have a degree in Civil Engineering
* Must have knowledge of Network Rail standards and processes
Desired Skills
* Chartered or Incorporated Engineer (or currently working towards) with the ICE
* Ideally has undertaken the role of CRE-D
