Assistant Loading Bay Equipment & Industrial Door Installer
Salary/Rate: Negotiable £p/h rate (door to door) + Overtime
Job Type: Full-time Monday to Friday
Applicants: Must be based in the Telford, Shrewsbury, Bridgnorth Area
Working Location: Field based – Nationwide
Candidate: The ideal candidates will be self-motivated, enthusiastic with the willingness to learn and have the ability to provide onsite problem-solving solutions.
Key Roles
1. Daily tasks will focus on the undertaking of the full Installation of Loading Bay Equipment (Dock Levellers; Hinge Lip & Telescopic Lip, Full Range of Industrial Doors inc High-Speed & Hydraulic Lifting Tables).
2. To assist with Service & Maintenance of Loading Bay Equipment attending Call Outs providing onsite repairs and return to service.
3. Other tasks will include assisting in managing van stock levels and processing related documentation.
4. Working towards the ability to undertake mechanical installation of all Loading Bay products unsupervised and to a competent standard.
Preferred Skills & Experience
1. Must be competent with Hand Tools, Battery Drills, SDS Drills, Grinders etc
2. Ability to weld but not essential.
3. Candidates must hold a valid UK driving licence.
4. Candidates must hold CSCS green Labourer card as a minimum.
5. IPAF 3a/3b Licence preferred but not essential.
6. Telehandler/FLT Counterbalance license preferred but not essential.
7. Loading Bay Experience is preferred but is not essential as full on the job training will be given along with progression to achieve NVQ accreditation leading to CSCS Blue Card in Loading Bay Equipment Installer.
Working Hours:
Candidate will be required to be flexiblewith working hours.
* Occasional Overnight Stays
* Generous Overtime rates
* Occasional Weekend working
