The Company
An established and well-regarded independent planning consultancy in the Teignbridge area is looking to welcome an experienced Planning Consultant to their growing team.
Though boutique in size, the practice consistently delivers work far beyond its scale, supporting a diverse client base that includes developers, national contractors, local businesses and private landowners. Their project portfolio spans a fascinating mix of sectors: residential, commercial, marine, highways, education, and care.
The consultancy provides end-to-end planning expertise, promoting land and development opportunities, securing planning permissions, and advising clients on planning risk. They regularly prepare and submit planning applications, negotiate with local authorities, and lead appeal work to the Planning Inspectorate. The team also undertakes Environmental Impact Assessments where required.
Every commission is approached with a tailored strategy, shaped by the site, the development proposal, planning policy, and the local political environment. Planning risk management sits at the heart of everything they do.
