About This Opportunity: Cumberland Council is looking to appoint a strategic HR leader to drive Council-wide employee relations and workforce planning. You’ll shape policy, lead key projects, and support transformation across services.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement workforce strategies
* Lead employee relations initiatives and HR/OD projects
* Provide expert advice to senior leaders
* Promote a culture of learning and continuous improvement
Ideal Candidate / Qualifications
* Strong HR casework leadership experience
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Proven ability to lead change and deliver results
This role is available on a fixed term basis until March 2026, with potential for extension.
