Role Purpose
The role of the Manager of Kettering Women's Centre and Shop is to contribute towards the delivery of Women's Services in North Northamptonshire. The Centre facilitates person-centred support for women at any stage of the criminal justice system, working in partnership with agencies including; Probation, Northamptonshire Healthcare Foundation Trust (NHFT), Police and a wide range of statutory and third-sector organisations.
This post also carries responsibility for recruiting and managing the volunteer team, overseeing the day-to-day running of the Women's Centre, and managing the day to day operations of C2C's first shop.
Occupational Requirement: Due to the nature of the role, and in line with Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010, this post is open to female applicants only.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Management
* Manage the daily operations of Kettering Women's Centre and the shop.
* Oversee budgets, shop sales recording, and financial accountability.
* Manage stock levels and coordinate donations.
* Ensure health and safety compliance across both Centre and shop.
* Complete management reports and administration in a timely manner.
* Ensure the Centre and shop are welcoming, safe and inclusive environments.
Volunteer Management
* Recruit, supervise, and support a team of volunteers for both the Centre and shop.
* Provide training, guidance and ongoing development opportunities.
* Carry out regular supervisions and case management reviews with volunteers.
Service Delivery
* Receive referrals, complete risk assessments, and allocate cases appropriately.
* Carry a personal caseload of women accessing the Centre.
* Develop and deliver person-centred support plans on a 1:1 basis and in groups.
* Work with staff, volunteers and partners to design and deliver a varied programme of activities.
* Maintain accurate and timely recording of case notes, data and reports.
Safeguarding & Risk Management
* Act as the designated safeguarding lead for the Centre.
* Participate in the on-call safeguarding rota.
* Monitor and contribute to service user risk assessments and intervention planning.
* Ensure risk assessments are completed and adhered to across all activities.
* Take responsibility for ensuring a safe working environment for accessing the spaces.
Partnership & Representation
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with partners, stakeholders and local agencies.
* Represent C2C Social Action at multi-agency meetings and external events.
* Promote C2C's mission, ethos and services across North Northamptonshire.
* Actively contribute to teamwork across the wider C2C team, including providing cover for colleagues as required.

Person Specification
Essential Criteria
* Female (Genuine Occupational Requirement under the Equality Act 2010).
* Commitment to C2C Social Action's Christian principles (Faithworks Charter).
* Strong management and organisational skills and proven experience of leading teams.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
* Ability to motivate and nurture staff, volunteers, and service users.
* Trauma-informed approach and strong professional boundaries.
* Experience supporting women with complex needs (e.g. offending, homelessness, substance misuse, domestic abuse, mental health).
* Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills.
* Proactive, innovative, flexible, and resilient approach.
* Awareness of diversity and inequality, with the ability to engage sensitively across a broad range of individuals.
* High standards of confidentiality, safeguarding, and data protection.
* Excellent administrative and IT skills (Office 365, Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook, case management systems).
Desirable Criteria
* Knowledge of the criminal justice system and issues around offending
* Understanding of housing provision and local support services
* Experience of multi-agency working and offender rehabilitation
* Awareness of local agencies and service networks

* Subject to Adult Workforce Regulations, satisfactory DBS check, references, and further vetting as required
* Ongoing employment subject to funding
* Staff must inform their line manager immediately of any personal involvement with criminal justice services
