Your Role as KS1 Teaching Assistant:
🔹 Provide 1:1 and small group support to KS1 students, helping them with their learning and development.
🔹 Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons to help students reach their full potential.
🔹 Support students with their literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional skills, ensuring they make progress in all areas.
🔹 Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment, encouraging students to feel confident and motivated to learn.
🔹 Assist with behaviour management, helping students stay focused and engaged in their learning activities.
🔹 Support with assessment and monitoring of student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
🔹 Contribute to the planning and preparation of resources to support students’ learning needs.
Who We’re Looking For:
✅ Experience working with KS1 children (either in a TA or similar role).
✅ A patient, caring, and adaptable approach to supporting young learners.
✅ Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team.
✅ A passion for working in primary education and supporting children’s academic and emotional development.
✅ An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
