Graduate Chemist – Inks & Formulations

Salary: £25,000 – £30,000 (depending on experience)
We are looking for a Chemistry graduate with an interest or experience in ink or formulation chemistry to join our technical team in Bristol.

Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the formulation and development of ink and coating products
* Conduct laboratory testing and analyse product performance
* Support production teams with troubleshooting and product improvements
* Maintain accurate lab records and follow safety procedures
* Work closely with R&D, QC, and manufacturing teams
Requirements:
* A degree in Chemistry or a related subject
* Some practical experience with formulations (e.g., through a placement, project, or previous role)
* Basic understanding of raw materials such as pigments, solvents, or resins
* Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Willingness to learn and develop within a technical role
Desirable:
* Experience with colour matching, pigment dispersion, or rheology testing
* Familiarity with lab equipment such as mixers, viscometers, or spectrophotometers
