Our beautiful converted house offers a warm, home-like atmosphere at the heart of our community, with the capacity for 37 children across three welcoming rooms. We prioritize children's emotional well-being, ensuring they feel safe and valued.
Our nursery operates from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and we are looking for someone who can work varied shift patterns within these hours.

Your Role as Room Leader
As a Room Leader, you will play a vital role in shaping the experiences of our children. Your responsibilities will include:
* Creating stimulating and purposeful experiences tailored to children's age and development.
* Supporting children's physical, intellectual, social, and emotional growth.
* Assisting staff in maintaining high-quality learning journals and the EyLog system.
* Leading by example, promoting respect and credibility in your role.
* Implementing an effective key person approach to foster secure attachments.
* Maintaining accurate records related to children and staff.
* Ensuring the safety and well-being of every child, staff member, parent, and visitor.
* Meeting the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
* Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification - Essential.
* Over 1 year of experience working in Early Years - Essential.
* Over 6 months of experience in a senior position - Desirable.
* Sound knowledge of Ofsted expectations for achieving a Good or Outstanding rating - Desirable.
* Knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements - Essential.
* Fluency in written and spoken English - Essential.
