Finance Manager Melton Mowbray Full Time, Permanent £38,000 - £45,000 SF Recruitment are supporting a fantastic SME in their search for a Finance Manager. As the Finance Manager, you will support the Financial Controller in managing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, maintaining compliance, and contributing to effective cost control, budgeting, and system improvements across the business. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee daily financial operations including AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and general ledger postings. - Manage prepayments, accruals, journals, and balance sheet reconciliations. - Support preparation of monthly management accounts, cash flow reports, forecasts, and budgets. - Liaise with suppliers and customers, assisting with VAT returns and CIS submissions. - Work closely with the Finance Assistant to ensure timely completion of routine tasks. - Processing and setting up payments - weekly, monthly - Collaborate with the Service Team and Financial Controller to manage and reconcile stock across systems. - Provide cover across the finance function during absences, including postings, payments, and reconciliations.
