We are looking to recruit an inspirational teacher with enthusiasm, sensitivity, resilience, drive, strong interpersonal skills and ambition who is committed to raising the expectations and achievements of our students. The ability to teach English to KS3-KS5. Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality English lessons in line with the national curriculum. Assess, monitor, and report on students’ progress, providing targeted support where necessary. Participate in department meetings, training, and school activities. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the English department and the wider school community. Ensure that all students are motivated and challenged to achieve their full potential. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. A relevant degree in English or a related subject. A passion for teaching English. Experience of teaching English at secondary school level (Key Stage 3 and 4 essential; Key Stage 5 desirable). Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and inspire students of varying abilities. Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills. A commitment to professional development and the ability to contribute to the school’s improvement journey. Desirable: Experience teaching A-Level English. Familiarity with the latest educational initiatives and a desire to innovate in teaching practices.
