Medical School Seeking a highly skilled project manager with experience in complex, multi-stakeholder research initiatives. Part-time (0.5 FTE) appointment on a fixed term basis for 12 months. Base salary range: Level B, $118,150– $139,812 p.a. (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation. About the area The National Centre for Asbestos Related Diseases (NCARD) is an NHMRC Centre of Research Excellence within the University of Western Australia’s Centre for Respiratory Health. NCARD conducts world-leading research into asbestos-related diseases, with a focus on cancer immunology, biomarker discovery, and translational therapeutics. NCARD’s activities span from laboratory science to clinical trials and include strong collaborations with local, national and international partners. About the opportunity Provides high-level project management support for the MAGIC (Mesothelioma AI Genomics and Immunology Consortium) initiative Coordinate complex, multi-institutional activities, manage international ethics and regulatory submissions, and ensure milestones are delivered efficiently and in compliance Collaboration across a multidisciplinary and international network of researchers, clinicians, and institutions About you Postgraduate qualification in health sciences, life sciences, project management, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training. Demonstrated experience in managing complex, multi-stakeholder research or healthcare projects. Experience in human research ethics processes and regulatory submissions (national and/or international). Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a research environment.
