Overview
We are currently looking for a passionate Reservations and Revenue Manager, to join our team on a permanent basis, to consistently deliver memorable moments and five star service to our guests and each other. It is important to us that everyone in the team brings positive energy to support our objectives as A luxurious country house by the sea, The Nare is considered the most comfortable hotel in Cornwall.
Responsibilities
As a Revenue Manager, your main duties and expectations for the role will include:
* Previous experience of working within a similar Revenue capacity hotel
* Great influencing and communication skills
* Have experience with SynXis and or other channel managers and booking systems.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse data and identify trends
* Exceptional attention to detail, numerical and analytical skills a must, including an excellent level of spoken and written English
* Commercial mind-set with a proactive sales approach
* Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create promotional strategies that drive revenue.
* Analyse financial data and prepare reports on revenue performance for senior management.
* Provide leadership and guidance to the team, fostering a culture of excellence in service delivery.
* Assist in training staff on best practices related to hospitality and customer service.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a revenue management role within the hospitality industry, preferably in hotels.
* Excellent leadership skills with experience in team management.
* Ability to analyse data effectively and make informed decisions based on insights.
* Proficient in using revenue management systems and other relevant software tools.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse teams.
