The School is currently enhancing its student marketing and recruitment capabilities, including expanding the Student Marketing team. The Multimedia Content Officer is a newly created position designed to play a pivotal role in delivering LSE’s student recruitment strategy. This strategy reflects the School’s commitment to attracting high-quality applicants from a diverse range of markets and backgrounds.
You will play an important role in the production of the creative digital storytelling within the Student Marketing team. The postholder will play a hands‑on role being responsible for planning, producing, and managing multimedia content that supports every stage of the student journey, from initial enquiry to offer acceptance and enrolment. This includes developing impactful content and campaigns across video, photography, animation, and audio formats that resonate with prospective students and offer holders.
The Student Marketing team has primary responsibility for:
* Student marketing campaigns and collateral – Management of student marketing channels and campaigns to deliver prospective student (lead) generation targets for Home and International students, including those for diversity and access.
* CRM - Implementation and operation of the CRM system throughout the student journey, including digital event management.
* Market Research and Intelligence (MRI) – Providing insight into customers, markets, competition and sector best practice, and using this intelligence to inform and influence plans and approaches across the School.
Candidates must have:
* Experience in planning, producing and editing multimedia content (video, photography, animation, audio) for digital campaigns
* Experience managing multimedia projects from concept to delivery, including working with freelancers or agencies
* Excellent proficiency in multimedia production tools (eg, Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, Audacity)
* Strong multi-channel creative production skills covering video recording and editing, sound editing, animation, graphic design and photography
* Strong storytelling skills with the ability to translate complex ideas into engaging digital content
* Ability to analyse multimedia digital content performance data and use insights to improve content effectiveness
* Proactive and solutions‑focused, with a willingness to innovate and experiment
