Role Overview
We are seeking a digitally-enabled Cost / Project Controls Engineer to support complex, mission-critical programmes. This role goes beyond traditional cost engineering, focusing on data-driven decision making, integrated digital controls, and advanced analytics across major capital projects.
You will play a key role in building intelligent cost and risk insights, leveraging modern project controls tools, data integration, and visualisation platforms to enhance programme performance, predictability, and governance.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Cost & Performance Management
- Develop and manage digitally integrated cost baselines aligned to WBS/CBS structures across complex programmes
- Apply Earned Value Management (EVM) using modern toolsets and automated data flows to track performance in near real time
- Produce Forecast at Completion (FAC) using data-led forecasting techniques and scenario modelling
Data & Analytics
- Design and maintain project controls dashboards and visualisations (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) to provide cost, schedule, and risk insight
- Enable data integration across systems (e.g. Primavera P6, ERP, cost management tools) to establish a single source of truth
- Support the development of predictive analytics models for cost forecasting and programme performance
