At Eilat, we support 7 adults with acquired brain injuries, helping with everyday living skills such as shopping, cleaning, and cooking. Our staff support individuals to have fun and make every day the best it can be, building their future and increasing personal empowerment.
We support people to access training, volunteering, education, and employment opportunities where possible. Everyone is encouraged to engage in their local community, learn new skills, and rediscover previously lost skills. Many of our Managers and Team Leaders started as Support Workers, progressing through ongoing training and coaching.
As a Senior Support Worker, your responsibilities will include:
1. Managing a team of Support Workers
2. Providing high standards of care and support according to care plans
3. Promoting community relationships through activities
4. Reporting, recording, and maintaining records as required
5. Liaising with health professionals and families
6. Conducting supervisions and audits
7. Ensuring duties are performed to required standards and fostering a positive, homely atmosphere
