The Accountant is expected to work 25-30 hours a week and will receive a salary of up to £35,000 (FTE) along with other attractive benefits including hybrid remote working and a free lunch!

Primary responsibilities;
Financial Management, Budgeting, and Financial Reporting
Billing - invoicing parents and chasing debtors
Banking - making payments, bank reconciliations, dealing with direct debits
Daily cash management
Management Accounting - reporting against budget, balance sheet reconciliations
Cashflow forecasting
Ad hoc accountancy tasks supporting the Bursar
Procurement
Key experience and attributes;
Financial Management, Budgeting, and Financial Reporting skills
Experience in accounting software and financial systems
Knowledge of regulatory compliance and financial best practices
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and in a team
Experience in the education sector is a plus
