DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES | About the role
We are looking for an engaging and confident Internal Account Manager, to join our dynamic and versatile Sales Team based in Alton, Hampshire. You will be the point of contact for our clients working on a variety of accounts, this is a customer service driven sales role, providing quotes, assisting with enquiries, and maximizing sales.
As the Internal Account Manager, you will:
* To provide a high level of customer service to all accounts.
* Issue quotations and processing purchase orders as well as completing administrative tasks as an when necessary. (i.e. Loans, Deal Registration, deliveries/logistics).
* Work to a financial target as well as KPI's geared towards a high level of accuracy and ensuring requests are turned around in a timely fashion.
* Drive attendance to Exclusive Networks event/webinars.
* Ensure that the CRM database in up to date.
* Assist and manage software renewals with a view to upsell and cross sell, increasing products brought through the client base and thus increasing gross margin.
* Provide support to allocated external Sales Team member(s).
* Own and manage the internal sales operational cycle, liaising with the key stakeholders to ensure smooth running of the sales cycle from preparation to deal completion.
* Develop and maintain strong customer and supplier relationships.
* Learn and develop a wide understanding of our diverse range of vendor products ensuring that knowledge of features and pricing is up to date.
* Hold strong internal relationships and use this resource to further enhance the reseller experience of Exclusive networks.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE | About you
The ideal Internal Account Manager will:
* Be personable with the ability to develop strong and lasting relationships, both internally and externally.
* Previous Customer Service/ Sales or Sales Administration experience
* Responsive and efficient with strong communication skills and a good telephone manner
* Be commercially aware with strong attention to detail and administration skills
* Be keen to learn and develop with a strong desire to work to and surpass targets
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel & Word)
* Ability to problem solve, identifying a client's needs and respond accordingly
* Self-starter who can motivate themselves and takes a positive approach to sales
* Knowledge of IT Industry – knowledge of our vendors would be excellent
* Experience using a CRM system
