Are you a compassionate and dedicated Senior Care Assistant? Our ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality care to residents in our Nursing Home. This role involves assisting residents with daily living activities, monitoring their health, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment. The Senior Care Assistant will work closely with residents to enhance their quality of life while promoting independence.
Responsibilities
* Leading and supporting the night care team to deliver person-centred care.
* Carrying out regular checks and responding promptly to residents' needs overnight.
* Supporting residents with personal care and other overnight needs.
* Ensuring the Home remains safe and secure throughout the night.
* Assisting with care plans
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and social workers to ensure comprehensive care.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a care environment (essential).
* NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards it).
* Confident in leading a team and making decisions.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Compassionate, calm, and committed to high standards of care.
A full enhanced disclosure must be provided, the cost of this will be met by the employee. The successful candidate will work 4 nights per week, 19.15pm - 7.45am. We are able to offer a Certificate of Sponsorship to the successful candidate however you must already live in the UK.
