Job title: Colleague Experience Administrator Job Category: Human Resources Hours per week: 37 Location: Civic Campus, Euclid Street, Swindon, SN1 2JG,Swindon Borough Council Pay: £16.62 per hour 2-3 days in the office - Wednesday is a mandatory day onsite Purpose: Provide administrative and transactional HR support across the entire employee lifecycle, including Learning & Development, HR Administration, and Resourcing. Ensure accurate data processing and timely responses to queries in line with policy and legislation. Key responsibilities and accountabilities: Develop a wide understanding of the HR & OD Function and the end-to-end colleague journey, including policies, terms and conditions, practices and procedures. Deliver accurate and timely HR administration across all colleague lifecycle processes. Ensure all query responses and processing meet legislation, policy, procedure and SLA requirements. Process, maintain and store data and records, ensuring data integrity and GDPR compliance. Support Learning & Development activities. Assist with recruitment and onboarding administration. Triage and risk assess queries, signposting and escalating where required. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within HR processes including developing FAQs on all areas allowing for consistency of advice. Feed ideas, observations and suggestions for improvements when they become apparent. Work with other areas across the HR & OD function and the wider Council to deliver organisational objectives. Share expertise and skills with others in the team. Supplementary Accountabilities Support with any ad hoc projects as required by the business. Knowledge and Experience: • Experience in HR administration or similar support role. • Understanding of HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation. • Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office applications. • Strong attention to detail. • Good communicator and able to build and develop relationships with internal and external customers. • Able to work constructively as part of a team understanding and supporting others. • Able to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality. • Quick learner able to easily adapt to changing processes.
