Occupational Therapist – Adult Social Care
Location: Nottingham
Hours: 37 hours per week
Pay Rate: £32 per hour
Role Overview Pertemps are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to work in Adult Social Care in Nottingham. The role involves assessing care needs, prescribing moving and handling equipment, and reviewing packages of care to promote independence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct assessments and support planning for adults in social care
2. Prescribe moving and handling equipment, including implementing single-handed care where appropriate
3. Review and reduce packages of care as needed
4. Maintain accurate records using relevant systems (experience with Liquid Logic preferred)
5. Work collaboratively with service users, families, and colleagues to deliver high-quality care
Essential Requirements
6. Degree or MSc in Occupational Therapy
7. Experience in Adult Social Care
8. Experience in assessing and prescribing moving and handling equipment
9. Knowledge of single-handed care and care package review
10. Experience with Liquid Logic is desirable
