We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Warehouse Shipping Coordinator (9-month FTC) to support the smooth, timely and cost-effective movement of goods to and from global destinations.
This role is key to managing daily logistics activities, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting wider warehouse and inventory operations within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Update and monitor departmental KPIs on a daily basis.
2. Process VL10B orders and manage air and sea shipments using VL06P.
3. Allocate ad hoc requisitions and process REMs and back orders.
4. Manage departmental inboxes, ensuring timely and professional responses.
5. Maintain material master data within SAP (MM02).
6. Ensure CMAT is cleared within agreed timelines (48 hours).
7. Coordinate global exports, including transport arrangements and accurate documentation.
8. Monitor imports to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery, including customs documentation and compliance.
9. Raise orders for warehouse works using the Whitman system.
10. Support inventory investigations and stock-related queries.
11. Collaborate with and support team members, including cross-training activities.
Qualifications
12. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage changing priorities.
13. Good understanding of import and export procedures.
14. Proficient in SAP and general computer systems.
15. Able to work accurately under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
16. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
17. Proactive, with a sense of ownership and commitment to high standards.
18. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
19. Knowledge of tariff codes is desirable.
