Currys – Greenock location. Permanent part‑time role. 8‑15 hours per week with flexibility to work additional hours.
Pay: £12.71* per hour plus an average bonus of 89p per hour. This rises to £13.01 per hour upon successful completion of the probation period.

As a Retail Sales Colleague you don’t need in‑depth tech knowledge before you join. All new colleagues attend a 2–3 day induction either virtually or at our academy in Fort Dunlop, Birmingham, where you gain the skills to sell, serve and support customers. We give you the confidence to make top‑notch recommendations through supplier training, product demos and hands‑on testing.
Our Sales Colleagues work flexibly across opening hours, which typically include Saturdays and Sundays. Stores are open 7 days a week, generally between 9 am and 8 pm, but times may vary locally.
Responsibilities
* Ask the right questions to match customers with products.
* Make every customer interaction memorable.
* Offer support services such as delivery, installation, recycling and payment options.
* Contribute towards the overall sales performance of the store.
* Work across different departments and product ranges.
* Support the running of the store by completing operational tasks.
Candidate Profile
* Approachable and friendly.
* Keen to learn about the latest technology.
* Comfortable achieving personal sales, service and customer experience targets.
* A strong team player, confident working across all parts of the store and winning as a team.
