Job Overview
Join our Research and Innovation Team and Stroke Team as a Stroke Research Sister / Charge Nurse. Based in the Stroke department, your role will focus on early patient identification for research studies. We seek a compassionate, accountable individual committed to delivering excellence and respectful treatment to colleagues, patients, and service users.
Main Duties
Manage and coordinate stroke clinical research studies within a multidisciplinary team. Your responsibilities include recruiting patients, supporting and educating them during studies, collecting and documenting accurate data, and setting up new studies in collaboration with the R&I department, ensuring compliance with all regulations including ICH GCP guidelines.

Person Specification
Knowledge and Experience
* Post registration experience in a Stroke clinical environment
* Ability to undertake nursing duties independently
* Clinical skills and knowledge supported by theory
* Proven team leadership experience
Qualifications & Training
* First level Adult Nursing - NMC registration
* Minimum 2 years nursing practice in Stroke
* Teaching qualification (ENB 998 and/or C&G 730) or equivalent
* Evidence of CPD
Personal Attributes & Skills
* Effective team working and independent working skills
* Initiative and workload organization skills
