Events Assistant
Location: Maidstone Leisure Centre, Maidstone, ME15 7RN
Salary: £15 per hour plus excellent benefits
Schedule: Part time casual contract working mainly evenings, weekends and late nights.

As an Events Assistant in our Maidstone Leisure Centre team, you’ll help ensure every visitor experiences a safe, smooth and enjoyable event. Your work supports the delivery of activities that bring communities together and create positive impact. You’ll play an important role in supporting the set‑up, preparation and smooth running of events that help people connect, stay active and enjoy shared experiences. By helping us deliver well‑organised, safe and welcoming events, you’ll contribute to work that touches lives and helps create a better future for local communities.
What You’ll Do As An Events Assistant
* Support the set‑up and preparation of events, ensuring all equipment and spaces are ready in good time.
* Uphold company Health and Safety Policy and comply with all relevant safety legislation.
* Carry out cleaning duties to maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout event areas.
* Follow processes outlined in the Safety Management System (SMS) to ensure consistent and safe operations.
* Assist with stewarding duties when required to support smooth event delivery.
