HC-One is seeking a Maintenance Operative with solid experience in maintenance, building, DIY, cleaning, and housekeeping. The ideal candidate will possess technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, and preferably some IT skills. It is essential to communicate considerately and kindly with residents and co-workers.
Your role will involve ensuring our Residents live in a proactively inspected and well-maintained environment. Responsibilities include conducting audits, maintaining records, replacing taps, fitting extractor fans, repairing windows, and decorating, all with kindness as a priority.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the procedures to follow if concerns arise. All staff are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and undertake additional training as needed. You should also be able to seek appropriate advice and escalate concerns when necessary.
