Your new role
As Administration Grants Officer within themunity Planning & Development team, you will provide professional, confidential, and high-quality administrative support across a range of service areas. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Diary management and scheduling for senior staff
2. Handling correspondence, coding invoices, and maintaining filing systems
3. Responding to public andmunity group queries
4. Supporting the development and maintenance of themunity Plan and associated databases
5. Assisting with the organisation of meetings, training sessions, and promotional campaigns
6. Attendingmunity planning functions in an administrative capacity
7. Providing cover for administrative duties inmunity centres and across the wider team
This is a full-time role (Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week), with occasional evening, weekend, and public holiday work required to meet service needs. The post is based in Ballymena in accessible premises, and some travel may be required.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you must meet one of the following criteria:
8. Minimum of 5 GCSEs including English and Maths (Grade C or above)
9. At least 1 year’s administrative experience in a busy office environment, including:Managing high volumes of workPrioritisingpeting demandsUsing office technology (, Word Processing)
Or alternatively
10. At least 3 years’ administrative experience in a busy office environment, including the abovepetencies
Additionally, you should be:
11. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
12. Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
13. A confidentmunicator with a professional approach
14. Able to work independently and as part of a team
15. Flexible and willing to travel for work-related duties
