Overview
Pobl Group are a proud employer of over 2,300 colleagues providing diverse services and making a difference in communities throughout Wales. Our Care team provides registered care services throughout South Wales at dozens of locations and for a wide range of customers. Pobl means ‘People’ and people really are at the heart of everything we do. We support some truly amazing people to live positive, independent lives in their own home and help get them where they want to be in life.
This is a rewarding and dynamic role where no two days are the same supporting a charismatic young adult with Autism who loves adventure and embraces life to the fullest. Be part of an individual’s journey as they enjoy outdoor activities, swimming, long walks, and scenic drives. The individual requires support with personal care and we have robust Procedures already in place to allow colleagues to fully support the individual, who follows his activity planner to have a consistent approach and fulfil his day with water play, baking and outdoor activities. There are 2 colleagues working between 11:00-18:00 to support the individual to access activities outside of his home, including walks, trips to the beach and meals out at his favourite café. Procedures and active support allow the individual to gain life skills, in a fun and inclusive way.
