About The Role
As a Bid Managerwithin our Business Development team, you’ll manage the bid process from startto finish, while also producing high-quality written content for both publicand private sector opportunities.You’llbe responsible for drafting, editing and coordinating bid responses, ensuring theyare compelling, accurate and aligned with client requirements.
Working closely with Legal,HR, Finance and Operations teams, you’ll handle multiple bids simultaneously,maintaining a strong focus on detail and a commitment to delivering high-qualityresults.
Key Requirements
* Proactively monitor tenderportals daily, identifying new opportunities and early market engagementprospects.
* Contribute to the completion ofSQ/PQQ and onboarding documents.
* In collaboration with theContent Writer create, edit and refine engaging content that maintains aconsistent tone and aligns with brand guidelines.
* Lead the qualification processand coordinate all tender related activities, including proposals,presentations, and negotiations.
* Act as a Bidding Coach,providing advice and guidance to colleagues across the firm, with input intoour social value strategy.
* Partner with the Head of Bids& Tenders to developed targeted win strategies.
* Analyse bid performance, collatefeedback, and maintain accurate records.
* Generate MI reports, tracktender activity, and recommend process improvements.
What We’re Looking For
* APMP FoundationCertificate is advantageous.
* Proven experience in bidprocesses within both the public and private sectors.
* Excellent communicationskills with the ability to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders.
* A passion for drivingcontinuous improvement and enhancing bid processes.
* Experience in developingand writing compelling content, particularly in areas such as social valuedelivery.
* A solid understanding ofprompt engineering for generative AI tools to help drive efficiency across bidmanagement tasks, content creation, tone adjustment and task automation.
