Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP)

Location: St. Vincent's Hospice, Midton Road, Howwood, PA9 1AF.
Were looking for an experienced and compassionate Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join St Vincents Hospice a hospice often described asthe little hospice with the big heart.
At St Vincents Hospice, you will play a key role in providing holistic, person-centred care to patients and those important to them, supporting them through some of lifes most significant moments.
About this role:
As an ANP, you will work as an autonomous practitioner, using advanced clinical judgement to manage a complex caseload and deliver high-quality care.
You will:
1. Undertake comprehensive holistic assessments and clinical decision-making
2. Provide expert symptom management, including prescribing
3. Support patients and families through sensitive and complex conversations
4. Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
5. Contribute to service development, education, and quality improvement
This is a senior clinical role where your expertise, compassion, and professionalism will have a direct impact on patient experience and quality of life.
About you:
Were looking for someone who:
6. Is a Registered Nurse with current NMC registration
7. Holds (or is working towards) a Masters in Advanced Clinical Practice
8. Is an Independent Non-Medical Prescriber (V300)
9. Has significant experience in palliative or end-of-life care
10. Demonstrates strong clinical judgement and decision-making skills
11. Is confident working autonomously and managing complex cases
12. Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Working Hours:
This is a permanent, full-time role offering a competitive annual salary ranging from £52,769 to £61,377.
