Reporting into the South West Service Manager, the Generator Technician will provide maintenance, installation, diagnosis, repair, and testing services across a range of diesel generator sets, switchgear, control systems, and associated equipment. Our support is carried out at clients' premises or Pharos sites. Key tasks include:
1. Carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance
2. Performing diagnostic, testing, and remedial works on generators and associated equipment
3. Providing call-out cover for generator breakdowns on a rota system
4. Conducting client site visits
5. Projecting spares requirements for upcoming and planned works
Requirements:
* At least 5 years of experience in Generator Engineering
* Mechanical diagnostic experience
* Qualified Mechanical Engineer or similar qualification
* Skilled in technical report writing with attention to detail
* Driving Licence required
