Clinty Group is seeking a motivated individual to join our team and contribute to impactful projects across the environmental sector. This hands-on role offers professional development in process, chemical, and biological sciences, with a focus on practical applications in agriculture, water treatment, and emerging technologies.
Key responsibilities include advising on feedstock productivity and sustainability, supporting waste valorisation strategies, and assisting in the development of nutrient management plans for both agricultural and industrial partners. The role also involves contributing to drinking water and effluent treatment solutions and participating in new technology implementation. While full training will be provided, a relevant background or demonstrable knowledge in related fields is highly desirable. The successful candidate will support both established operations and new business initiatives across the company.
The position will be based at our Dargan Road site in Belfast, with some travelling between sites or to customers as necessary.
Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Friday 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM.

Key Responsibilities
* Assess and provide technical guidance in client-facing environments
* Stay updated with industry innovations, technological advancements, and relevant legislation
* Deliver on-site support for projects across various sectors
* Oversee project phases from initial consultation to commissioning
* Generate process data and recommendations, analyze production schedules, and forecast requirements
* Prepare reports and documentation for management
* Build and maintain client relationships to support growth and identify opportunities
Essential Criteria
* A degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Science, or similar environmental discipline
* Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently
* Proficient troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
* Excellent planning and organizational skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Valid driving license
Desirable
* Interest in environmental sustainability, soil sciences, and agriculture
* Experience in the environmental science industry
Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 DOE
