Behind it is a global events business with over 30 years of experience bringing transformative ideas and the people behind them into the same room.
As Business Development Manager, you will help drive the commercial growth of this flagship event. This is a high-impact, revenue-generating role at the intersection of sales, strategy and one of the fastest-growing markets on the planet. The renewable energy sector is expanding at a pace few industries match, and this role puts you at the front of that wave.
You must have right to work in the United Kingdom (without visa sponsorship) and be able to work in a central London office.
Key Responsibilities
* Own the full sales cycle for exhibition, sponsorship and partnership packages — from identifying new opportunities to closing high-value deals
* Identify, engage and convert new business across manufacturers, distributors, traders and service providers in the solar and storage industry
* Build and manage relationships with senior stakeholders at Director, VP and C-suite level, developing tailored, value-led propositions aligned to their objectives
* Manage and grow a pipeline of strategic accounts, forecasting revenue accurately and contributing to commercial strategy
* Collaborate with marketing, production and leadership teams to continue shaping and evolving the event offering
Key Requirements
* A native Italian speaker with strong fluency in English
* Proven full-cycle sales experience, from outreach and prospecting through to close
* A track record of engaging and influencing senior stakeholders
* Commercially minded and target-driven, with the resilience to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
* Experience with pipeline management tools such as Salesforce and Gong desirable
* A genuine interest in renewable energy and the broader energy transition
The package reflects the opportunity: a base salary of £40,000 (negotiable depending on experience) with a 40% OTE (uncapped).
