We are seeking a talented and personable Barber / Hairstylist to join our brand new vibrant studio team, located inside the Trident Gym in the Coventry town centre.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your hair styling expertise while delivering exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating stylish cuts, and grooming services tailored to clients' preferences, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment. Previous experience in barbering and hair styling, combined with excellent communication skills, is essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
* Provide a range of hairdressing services including cutting,, styling, and grooming for clients of all ages
* Offer personalised consultations to understand clients' desired looks and provide expert advice on styles and treatments
* Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in all tools and workstations
* Build strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and customer loyalty
* Keep up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and products in hair styling and barbering
* Manage appointment schedules efficiently to minimise wait times and optimise salon flow
* Ensure all equipment is well-maintained and properly sanitised after each use
* Promote salon services and retail products to enhance client experience and increase sales
Experience
* Previous experience as a Barber or Hairstylist is preferred, with a proven track record of delivering quality hair services
* Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with clients in a friendly and professional manner
* Excellent communication skills to clearly understand client needs and explain styling options effectively
* Proficiency in hair styling techniques, including cutting, shaving, and grooming styles
* Fluency in English is essential for effective communication within the team and with clients
* Knowledge of current trends in hair fashion and grooming practices is advantageous
