What you'll do:
As a Commodities (Metals) Trade Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in executing assigned FICC Trade Support activities for Commodity products. Your responsibilities include:
* Booking, validating, and amending trades, reviewing trade discrepancies, and liaising with clients
* Supporting the introduction of new products, technology, or processes
* Identifying potential risk situations within FICC Trade Support activities
* Ensuring adherence to regulatory and bank policies and procedures
* Contributing to testing and updating contingency planning
* Identifying opportunities to improve operational effectiveness
What you bring:
The ideal candidate will have:
* 5+ years of experience in the financial services industry
* University Degree or College Diploma in a related discipline
* Strong knowledge of Financial Products, including Commodities (Energy and Metals), Fixed Income, and Interest Rate Derivatives
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to work under tight deadlines independently or within a team
* Understanding of risk and regulatory requirements
