As Conversion Manager, you'll play a key role in converting client enquiries into confirmed bookings and revenue. You'll manage the full sales cycle from initial client contact through to conversion, handling large enquiries, negotiating rates and practising effective yield management. Your work directly influences the organisation's ability to meet annual revenue targets, making this a pivotal position within the sales team.
Responsibilities:
Manage and respond to new enquiries within agreed timeframes, ensuring each opportunity is fully qualified and professionally presented
Lead client appointments and venue visits, showcasing the offering to secure bookings
Handle large enquiries with full proposals and negotiate terms with organisers
Apply structured pricing and yield principles to maximise profitability
Monitor option bookings and diary management to ensure space is strategically controlled
Analyse conversion performance and lost business to identify trends and improvements
Conduct competitor research to understand local market positioning and pricing
Re-engage with past clients to encourage repeat business and rebook opportunities
Qualify leads and support the proactive sales team with qualified opportunities
Contribute to sales-focused initiatives and drive a results-oriented culture within the team
Complete gap analysis to track progress against revenue target
