Blue Arrow are currently recruiting for a Nightshift Machine Operator for our client based in Kirriemuir to start immediately
Pay rate: £14.83 Per Hour
Location: Kirriemuir
Hours: Sunday to Thursday, 10pm-6am
Contract: Ongoing Temporary (Permanent Opportunities for the right candidate)
Day in the life of a Machine Operator:
* Machine Operating
* Carrying out general day-to-day care, calibration and maintenance of machines
* Follow all health and safety standards and be proactive in improving health and safety awareness.
* Report any issues with fabric quality to Quality Control.
* Monitor coating quality and report any issues found, advise and assist with corrective actions where required.
* Make sure the machine is operating correctly to produce the required end product
* Ensure daily machine maintenance tasks are completed.
* Help and support with controls modifications and general improvements to fabric processing.
* Ensure machine areas and storage areas are kept clean and tidy.
* Complete paperwork accurately and ensure it is kept up to date.
* Manage personal time keeping and report any issues that affect your ability to work.
* Contribute to recycling and waste minimisation
* Maintain good general housekeeping.
What we are looking for:
* Ability to work on own initiative
* Minimum two years Machine Operating Experience
* Good communication skills
* Hardworking and conscientious
* Ability to work to a high standard
