Site Engineer, Scotland Wide, Mobile Role, Permanent, £45,000 to £50,000

Responsibilities:
* Commission, service, and maintain a range of energy and mechanical systems, including electric boilers, commercial heat pumps, CHP systems, MVHR, HIUs, and metering equipment
* Inspect and verify installer work, including detailed installation checks, cable routing, and overcurrent protection
* Ensure all equipment is installed and maintained in line with manufacturer specifications and industry standards
* Diagnose and resolve faults across the full product portfolio
* Set up and support metering systems, including M-Bus and Modbus connections
* Work with MVHR systems using data wiring similar to RS485
* Support Gas Safe engineers when required on joint tasks
* Communicate professionally with clients, delivering high levels of customer service
* Complete accurate service reports and documentation via a CRM system
* Maintain strict health and safety compliance at all times
* Participate in ongoing CPD training to maintain technical competence and certifications
Requirements:
* Valid ECS card
* Full UK driving licence
* Level 3 electro-technical qualification
* Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent)
* AM2 certification
* Current BS7671 (IEE Wiring Regulations) qualification
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
* Willingness to travel across Scotland, with occasional overnight stays (up to 4 days per month)
