GSL Education are seeking a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Nottingham. This role is a fantastic opportunity to provide essential support to children in the Early Years Foundation Stage, helping them to develop their skills, confidence, and love of learning. Role Overview: As an EYFS TA, you will work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging learning activities and provide targeted support to children in their early development. You will help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where every child can thrive. As an EYFS TA, you will: Support the class teacher in delivering the EYFS curriculum. Provide individual and small group support to pupils. Encourage positive play, learning behaviours, and social interaction. Assist in preparing resources and maintaining classroom organisation. Observe and track children’s progress, feeding back to the teacher. Help create engaging displays and a welcoming learning environment. Requirements for EYFS Teaching Assistant: Previous experience working with children in an EYFS or early years setting. A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years/Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Patience, creativity, and a nurturing approach. An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
